Ingredients:
(Measurement: 1cup - 180ml)
- Maida / All purpose flour - 1 cup
- Sugar powder - 1 tbsp
- Butter (unsalted) - 2 tbsp
- Milk - 1 to 2 tbsp
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Baking powder -1/2 tsp
- Rose syrup (contains sugar) - 1 tbsp
Preparation:
- Add melted butter and sugar powder in a mixing bowl. Whisk well till white creamy consistency.
- Add maida, salt, baking powder and rose syrup. Mix well. Note: Add extra 1/2 tbsp sugar powder if the rose syrup does not contain sugar.
- Now add 1 tbsp milk and make a soft dough (If the dough is dry, add 1 more tbsp milk and adjust the consistency).
- Take a small portion of dough, make a ball without any cracks. Place it on a baking tray.
- Repeat the same procedure for remaining dough. Place them on the baking tray and ensure to leave a little space between the pieces.
- Preheat the oven at 180°C in convection mode. Bake at 180°C for 15 - 17 minutes.
- Take out the baking tray from the oven and cool down the cookies completely.
