Ingredients:
- Maida flour - 1 cup
- Chiroti rava- 1/2 cup
- Salt - 3/4 tsp or as per taste
- Powdered Sugar - 1 tsp
- Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red Chilli flakes - 3 tsp
- Chopped Onion - 1
- Chopped Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
- Chopped Curry leaves - 1 tbsp
- Ghee - 3 tsp
- Milk - 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp
Preparation:
- Mix all the above ingredients and make a soft dough. Add milk in small quantities while mixing and check the consistency.
- Make balls from the dough and flatten it by hand to get circular shaped thin pieces. Arrange the pieces on a greased baking tray.
- Take a fork and prick the Nippattu few times to prevent them from puffing.
- Set the oven to convection mode, bake at 180°C for 20 - 22 minutes.
Enjoy Crunchy Nippattu with tea/coffee.
