Ingredients:
⚜ Cucumber (chopped) - 2 cups
⚜ Coconut (freshly grated) - 3/4 cup
⚜ Fried Gram - 1 tbsp
⚜ Green Chillies - 5
⚜ Coriander Leaves - few
⚜ Tamarind - 1.5 inches
⚜ Jaggery (crushed) - 1 tbsp
⚜ Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
⚜ Asafoetida / Hing - 2 pinch
⚜ Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
⚜ Curry leaves - few
⚜ Salt - as per taste
⚜ Water - 1 cup
⚜ Oil - 2 tsp

Preparation:
- For Grinding - Add Coconut (grated), Fried gram, Green chillies, Coriander leaves, Tamarind, Jaggery, 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds, Turmeric powder and Water to a mixer jar. Grind into smooth mixture.
- Add chopped Cucumber into a mixing bowl and pour the ground mixture. Mix well.
- For tempering - Heat Oil in a kadai and add 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds.
- Once the mustard seeds splutters, add Curry leaves and Hing. Mix well.
- Add the tempering to the Gojju along with Salt. Mix well together.
- Enjoy Southekayi Gojju with Akki (rice flour) or Ragi (finger millet) Rotti / Chapathi.
