Ingredients:
- Maida - 1 cup
- Chiroti rava/ sooji - 1/2 cup
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Powdered Sugar - 1 tsp
- Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red Chilli flakes - 1 1/2 tsp
- Om seeds / Ajwain / Carom seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Ghee - 3 tsp
- Milk - 1/4 cup + 1 tsp
Preparation:
- Add ghee and sugar powder to a mixing bowl. Whisk well and make a white creamy mixture.
- Add maida, chiroti rava, salt, baking powder, red chilli flakes and Om seeds. Mix well.
- Now add milk gradually and make a soft dough.
- Take a small portion of dough, make a ball and flatten it slightly. Place it on a greased baking tray.
- Repeat the same procedure for remaining dough. You can make biscuits round, stick or any shape of your choice.
- Preheat the oven at 180°C in convection mode. Bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes.
- Take out the baking tray from the oven and cool them completely.
- Enjoy spicy OM/ Ajwain biscuits.
